Here I collected legends of various human bloodsuckers (ghūls, jiangshi (殭屍), kyūketsuki (吸血鬼), pontianak, aswang). Pink are areas of lower relative density, or draugar and revenants for Northern Europe: the Baltish Pripet Marsh and Uralic Hungary proper also have a paucity of legends other than the lidérc</i>. In the light-grey areas they "live" in cities over 500,000 (let's say 1 per 100,000, except in friendly places like Miami, NYC, NOLA, LA). They're not welcome at all in India and Africa. Unlike in World of Darkness they're usually just a corpse-eating, leering, hulking muzhik stuffed into an evening suit, taking advantage of the necrotic erotic (and rumored to be Cainites). The more civilized ones work as blood-donation techs, vintners, or immunologists. Their sense of smell makes them dislike garlic, but not anything that comes from a body (and I do mean anything).

Any suggestions (especially myths I've missed), welcome!
